Pasta  with a variation on my usual because I am using turkey for a change. Will be in tomato sauce with spinach, mushrooms, carrot and a bit of blue cheese.

This evening we had salmon steaks, noodles and green beans.  We have this just about every Saturday, because Saturdays are always busy for me and it's a meal that involves virtually no work.  ::)

here you are Megamind.  This is the exact recipe I use.  The only thing I substituted was dried ginger instead of fresh ginger as I didn't have any.

Just had late lunch as we were out all morning.  Roast pork, roast potatoes, runner beans, corn on the cob, peas and carrots and yorkshires and gravy.  Rang ahead and got son to heat oven and put meat in. When we got back daughter and her boyfriend did all the veg, hubby did the apples and I made an apple crumble and custard.  Son did all the dishwasher loading and then made coffees. Clean plates all round.  :)

Great teamwork Pennyfarthing!

Beef and mushroom casserole with carrots, mashed potatoes and cavalo nero.

S x

I love casseroles and stews and have an obsession with casserole dishes!  I have loads and justify by saying "that's just the right size when there are only two of us eating." Or "that one is perfect for 6".

Casseroles and stews are something to look forward to in Autumn and winter.  :)

Having trouble eating anything at the mo due to anxiety so it will be simple mushroom pate and crusty bread with a yoghurt. Not very much I know as this is all I have eaten today but at least it is something and fairly nutritious. At the moment I am eating just whatever I can get down me (but at least not eating rubbish food). I think I may do a shop online and get back to salads and stir fries if I can. Thank goodness I just need to cook for one.
