You need Atora suet and self raising flour pinch of salt mix up with water into dough. Then roll it out    as you would do normally trim edges into like square, rectangler  shape. Dice an onion up put in middle of pastry then cut bacon pieces up  with it. Then roll it up seal the edges and oven reg6 for 30 to 45mins.

I'm on my way Janice68  :bunny:

Sparkle my daughter is no cook or baker by any stretch of the imagination so when she made us a cake for our wedding anniversary it meant so much because it wasn't easy for her and she got her friend to help.  We appreciated it so much.

Barbecued mackerel (that my husband caught himself locally), courgettes from the garden (with onion and root ginger), runner beans and tomatoes (all from the garden) bubbled up in a pan with garlic and basil. Husband had spuds (Lidl) but I am low carb so none. All washed down with generous helping of white wine.

Cavalo nero  :o Sparky!!! - I had to look that up as I'd never heard of it!!! It sounded like a wine but realised as it was steamed that it couldn't be  ;D

Oh Janice that brought back memories of my dear old Mum, Bacon roly poly was one of her specials back in the 60's.

I hated it because of the onion, I remember it being slimy & smelly. I'm sure I would love it now but as a child no way.
