Bcause we knew we would be tired today Himself cooked enough curry for 3 meals - so it will be heated through with boiled rice to which I will add a slab of butter and some chutney.

Love curly kale especially with mashed potatoes and nice gravy.

Tonight we have a leek and stilton tart that I made earlier with left over spiced cauliflower that we made yesterday.  We'll finish up the Dorset Apple cake too.

Tomorrow my husband is going to make us a vegetarian curry  :)

Cheese. Made chiilli but so many hot flushes and belly like a poisoned pup , as my nana used to say  that I decided cheese was a better option. So I had cheese for lunch with ham and sane for tea. Now I'm starving so may have to send for more cheese.

I haven't been able to eat chilli-con-carne for years or baked beans - not worth the risk of feeling really ill afterwards  :sigh:.

Wensleydale??!

Steamed for me!  ;D

Strangely despite loving cheese, I'm not fond of Wensleydale or Caerphilly. Too dry and crumbly I find. I've some hide blue cheese or smoked lurking if I can persuade mr ethyl to fetch some after his shower. He makes a rubbish nurse.

.....lunchtime, actually!   Roast pork rubbed with Italian herb and garlic mix, followed by apple strudel with either ice cream or custard - or both!

awww I love ice cream on hot custard, especially bananas and custard.  Hubby thinks I'm weird.  I also like cheese and marmalade together.

He is making us a vegetarian curry for lunch as we type  :)
