I've made lamb chops, baby spuds, cabbage, carrots & broccali.
Must be bloody barmy, cooking in this heat.....
It was nice though.....

I think anyone who cooks in this weather is very brave! Can't have the oven on in my tiny kitchen in this heat, I would keel over. Even using the hob is a trial, so tonight's dinner was microwaved paella and salad. It was vey nice.

Tonight he did diced chicken breasts with ginger and garlic cooked covered, with butter poured over; garlic bread; cauliflower

We had roast chicken, mashed potatoes, roasties,
Roasted carrots & parsnips, broccoli and green beans..
I'm more a veggie person , I don't eat much meat, only a little,
Of any meat...I could easily not eat meat at all.
Then eat a very large block chocolate all to myself......lol

Garlic chicken and salad for me....
Eat, cleaned up, and I've just found an apple turnover in the fridge that had tomorrow's
date on it......so I just had to eat it......well, it's better than throwing it away....lol

Slimming Worlds' Sausage Casserole.
I've just prepared the veg & just thinking this was probably a bad idea as it's going to be very hot out in my little kitchen.

Jeaniewigs, I'm sure they both count as two of your five a day, somehow!
Kazikins, I hope you managed OK today in your tiny kitchen. I also have a tiny kitchen, with a west facing window, so I'd probably keel over if I put the oven on in this heat. Even using the hob is a trial at the moment. If I can't microwave it or eat it cold, then I ain't eating it at all.

Sorry to hear that Jeaniewigs, hope you feel better soon. A bland diet for a couple of days and taking things easy will hopefully sort things out. The heat doesn't help, but it's due to get cooler by midweek. Take care.

No cooking for me today! Eating out at lunchtime followed by a walk by the river.

I was so looking forward to it as well.
But everyone else wanted kfc, so I went along with that.....
