Kegel8 exercise or similar
« on: May 19, 2013, 11:01:59 AM »

Hi,
This was mentioned briefly in another thread and I was wondering if I might find it helpful. I am post menopause.
Have you used one of these or something similar?
Good or bad experience?
Would you recommend this?
Any thoughts?
Thanks

I have the Kegal 8 ultra.  Quit using after it made me sore, but really helped.  Always lube well and don't overdue.  Excellent for prolapse and I will use if get real bad again on prolapse, but prefer estradiol cream, which helps so many things.  Will pm you with a ton of info, but you must use the search engine or surf the site.  Site no where near as efficient as this.

I bought the Sensa Tone version a few months ago. It's very good but after two or three weeks use it began to hurt me in one particular spot every time - I decided to have a break from it and haven't got round to trying it again, bit nervous to do so to be honest...   :-\

I also used Sensa Tone.  It certainly toned things up but like Morwenna I also found it caused pain in one particular area.  I assumed that this was because of my rectocele.  Wondering now if it was something else after reading what Morwenna said.

Thanks for joining this thread.
I too have a rectocele prolapse and was wondering if using one of these gadgets might help me avoid surgery in the future.

Does your rectocele cause you any probs at all?  Have you been told whether it is mild/moderate etc?
