You've still had an operation whatever way it's done - I do think the hospitals/docs try to make light of laparoscopy procedures, probably to get everyone home same day. Sounds good going to a play, enjoy and be good to yourself.

I had a laparoscopy 20 years ago, I was in a right state afterwards. Could barely MOVE. Dont think you've been going on at all. Hope you had a good night with your friend.

Hope you had a good time with your friend Pixie. Be gentle with yourself. Any operation is a shock to the body. We don't know exactly what happens during any operation and how our body responds to the anaesthetic. Never mind the emotions we go through.
Hope you feel better soon

changes can be scary, even when we want them

When I had 1 lot of surgery - my first - I was OK for the 1st week then the middle of the 2nd I had two very exhausting days, probably because of the effects of anaesthesia. The 2 lots I had when my breast operation took place were strange too - I slept after the surgery until exactly 4.30 p.m., then woke feeling as if the remains fo the anaesthetic had wafted out of my body
and I was really hungry.

Hi, turning the corner! Had a nice time yesterday and also this afternoon. My friend took me over to Thomas Hardy's cottage in Bockhampton, as they were doing a free voucher day with the National Trust, then went for a walk. We've just eaten a cream tea with 2 scones, jam, cream!

Only 2 scones?
Why not more

Received a letter in the post today to say that the right tube which I had been removed showed previous inflammation but nothing untoward otherwise. That is a relief to know, especially as I had decided not to opt for total hysterectomy which is what my GP had suggested!!
