Since I took it on board that I am now weeks from being 50 I no longer see myself as a dodgy 40 something and I am a not bad for 50 something...hopefully...apart from my FAT BELLY! lol
I have a long line jumper dress in grey over black M&co leggins with 3/4 boots.
I am leaning towards pastel shades more these days and taken a likeing to light weight dress scarves.

I have recently thrown to one side a pair of dirty, brown, 2nd/3rd hand jeans which have been gardening for about 4 years.  DH HATES them  and refuses to go anywhere outside the garden with me if I keep them on .......... but they are great for gardening

Like the tunic Bramble, my style. Me, I'm wrapped up against the cold. Grey straight jeans and big sloppy grey mix cosy jumper.

I decided at the end of last year to get dressed every day as though I was going out and not to laze around all the time in fleeces.............which I was apt to do. Still have the odd lazy fleece day but most days I am dressed OK.

Oh I fully understand Bramble.  I did start the day with a smart top, but got so darned chilled looking at cars this morning, I needed something cosier. In fact hubby did the same. Have bought some nice tops for spring/summer though, if it's ever warm enough.

At the moment I am wearing a black nightie (fitted jersey, sleeveless from M & Co) and a blue dot dressing gown.  Just had a shower!

Today I was wearing loosish black leggings (don't like cheap, tight ones) and a tunic dress over top.  The top is by Adini and I bought it recently reduced from £50 to £25.  I only went out once today and put on some grey suede biker boots and a black coat over top.  I also took my Orla Kiely bag which I love and looks great against my black coat.

Great tunic.  Today I've been wearing black skinny jeans tucked into long boots and a thick pink and white jumper with sequins and a scarf effect.  Now, grey pyjamas and a long pink fluffy dressing gown!! that gets the pulses going!!  Off to bed - night! x
