Loved all of the above but especially black jacks which gave freakily coloured tongues.

Does anyone remember the Tufty Club. We were given Tufty Club toothbrushes and plastic rinsing cup at school.

Yes Dyan, Tufty was a wee squirrel.

Did we sometimes get pyramid shaped cartons of orange juice at school ?

I remember my Gran buying bottles of Cidrap or was it Cydrap. Some sort of fizzy apple juice which we got a small glass of as a treat.

Used to get a Haliborange vitC going out to school in the morning. I used to pinch more of them when no one was looking. Good job excess is peed out or I would have overdosed. I was a right Haliborange junkie.

Heavens yes, Janet & John  ;D

As for health & safety, they would have been flabbergasted at what I did in P1.  Teacher used to send me & a friend down the road during class time to buy her biscuits for tea break!  I was the most trustworthy with her money apparently!  My mother was informed and she was perfectly happy with the arrangement!  Good grief can you imagine what would happen nowadays.

Tufty was a *red* squirrel - when ever we see road kill we say to each other 'he didn't do his Tufty Code'  ::)

Did anyone else have a Miss Happy Heart doll?  She had a button to press to hear her heart and had great hair.
