I don't think Denise came across in a very good light on Piers Morgan, felt like I liked her better before it!  Mrs Brown's Boys is good, my son and his fiancee went to see it live and said that the cast were all poorless with laughter throughout - they obviously love it too!

I'm all ready for x factor tonight. Think there are some good acts on this series  :)

I like the fact that there are no comedy or novelty acts this year and no intense crazy people like last year's Kitty. I like Christopher Maloney but his nerves might make it difficult for him. I do not like Rylan at all.

I like Chistopher too. Hope the nerves settle for him if he goes through.

Ryan last night said he was taking serious .. I don't think do .. Not in that outfit he was wearing  ::)

All set for tonight's  ;)

I haven't watched any of this year's X Factor.  Decided I'd wait until the final 12 or whatever number then maybe watch it then.  I got so fed up with the token comedy/novelty acts of previous years.

Towering Inferno again!
Steve McQueen and Paul Newman. Sigh!
Now I really am showing my age.

I just watched it too Anne, they don't make them like that now. I much prefer top class acting and a good script to all the CGI and special effects of these days. I love old black and white movies too, especially Hitchcock.

You cant have too much totty CG.....there is no such thing as too much.  ;)

I did not watch Denise Welch as I just cant stand the woman. Its just so tacky dragging your personal life out on TV.

I feel really sorry for her kids.

Monroe starts tonight. I love James Nesbitt
Clashes with New Tricks so will watch it on ITV+1 at 10pm.

Hunted starts Thursday. I really hope the hype about it matches the programme.

I haven't read more than the last page of this thread, so excuse me if somebody said this already.
I saw Moone Boy on sky one by accident and I absolutely loved it. I think it's only on for two more Fridays. Don't think I've ever watched anything on sky one before. We tend to watch movies - I love old movies as well, but confess that I like mindless stuff just before I go to bed. Two nights ago we watched Johnny English Reborn. It was deeply silly but funny in places and relaxing.
Hoping to remember to watch a new comedy series on sky Atlantic tonight with Don Cheadle in it.

Why don't they show classic films late on BBC2 any more? I had a wonderful VHS collection of truly great classic films. I also love really good documentaries but there seem so few on TV these days

Ahh Monroe.  If only real doctors looked like James Nesbitt.  Actually I was once in hospital where my doc was very good looking.  About 20 years too young, but it was worth being ill just to see him!   ;D

Which Doctor?
This was about 2 identical twin GPs who had different views on medicine.
One was all for the traditional treatment and drugs and the other was more for the natural approach.
One lady had been on migraine medication for years and was getting worse, losing her speech and balance.
She picked the 'natural' doctor who took her slowly off her med and sent her to a physiotherapist once a wk to have work on her neck.
Within 5 weeks she was talking and walking,no medication.

XFactor tonight, L.Walsh is a disgrace - that shouldn't have been allowed, he told the girl he was keeping her then changed his mind.
