Hello catweazle, I haven't met you yet.

Yes, we watched it, we really like it but i missed the bit between Mary and Matthew falling out and them getting married so will have to catch up on catch up later today.  :)

I watched it and I was crocheting a very intricate shawl at the same time and I made a few mistakes!

It's just right for a Sunday evening. :)

It's ok Purplenanny. I started this topic so we can chat about anything we've seen on TV, not just Downton.  :)

Is anyone watching Revenge on E4? Someone on here highlighted it, I'm glad they did or I'd never have spotted it on that channel. It's very addictive - next episode is tonight and I can't wait!

Lots of good telly on at the moment. My Tivo box is filling up faster than I can watch stuff!

I'm the same, Catweazle - hours of stuff recorded that I haven't watched as OH has been on holiday and we've been out and about or watching things together. I've got several episodes of Revenge to watch, as well as several complete drama series! Looking forward to Downton; I'll probably watch it on catch-up to save fast-forwarding through the adverts.
I finally saw the first episode of "Accused" last week and thought that Sean Bean was brilliant.

Catweasel, I'm watching Revenge. Isn't it good! Acting is a bit iffy but I love it.

We've just spent ages catching up on stuff we recorded while we were on holiday.

Had heaps of Bondi Rescue to catch up on.

It's perfect "veg out on the sofa" fodder.  I like the new Dallas too; I think that Revenge is meant to be a *damn meno brain, can't think of the word" * to Dallas. Have you noticed that the hotel where the guy was "naughty" is called "South Fork"?  :P

Cubagirl, glad I'm not the only person who watches Bondi Beach Rescue!
Some rather nice bodies on show. Not that's why I watch it you understand!

Being virtually housebound over the last few months has turned me into a TV addict. I watch things now that I would never have contemplated in the past.

I refuse to watch Jeremy Kyle. Not that desperate yet.

AnneB,
I know what you mean by being a TV addict.
When I had my breakdown 8 years ago and couldn't leave the house I watched - Jeremy Kyle  :-*don't any more I will quickly add) ;D
cash in the attic, bargain Hunt,Who will date my daughter?,Doctors( I still watch this and I'm hooked) Ready, steady, cook.

Watching all the antique shows then has got me interested in antiques now.
I watch Secret dealers,Dickinsons Real Deal,Antiques Roadshow.

I found my telly a source of comfort when I was ill back then.

My guilty pleasures today, when I'd usually have been at work (holiday weekend here) was to watch This Morning, Loose Women and Doctors.  Made myself go out after that lot!

Watched so many antique programmes I'm sure I could give the experts a run for their money. New career maybe?

Dyan, just wanted to thank you for your post. My OH watches quite a few programmes and I was worried about it. Now I realise it is comforting for him while he gets better (hopefully) I will not be so concerned
