Steak, mushroom, pepper and tomato skewers....done under the grill. With a Greek salad and pitta.

Just fancied something different for a change.

Ooh sounds lovely HB. I'm making lemon chicken with rice. Pudding is leftovers of last night's pud, which is stewed apples with cornflakes. Hubby gets to have cream with his.

DH is going to smoke some trout and sardines.  Under the coals in our hearth is a very large parsnip in foil and 2 large potatoes baking ……
Last night was fish and chips from the shop.
Friday night was cold smoked trout with hot pasta/garlic/salt/pepper/red peppers  :-*

Terriyaki salmon here (with toasted sesame seeds and garlic). The recipe was found online but could easily be Slimming World or Weight Watchers F&H as it's back to basic ingredients.  Unfortunately the banoffee pie waiting for dessert isn't quite so pious, but then if someone else bought it the calories don't count do they?  ;)

Not much tonight as ate lunch time (husband gone to football match).

No.2 son cooking a beef curry thing for himself and No.1 son.
When buying the ingredients he ask the shop assistant 'where is the decimated coconut please?'
Luckily he came home with the desiccated variety.

Quorn curry in our house tonight. We're on a protein boost before my daughter competes in the Regional Gymnastic Competitions this weekend! She could lift me at the moment, though i'd struggle to return the favour  :D
