I thought I might have a go at making my own Aqua Manda http://www.perfumeintelligence.co.uk/library/perfume/a/a5/a5p3.htm

with essential oils and a carrier.

Aqua Manda was made from Mandarin, coriander, rosemary, parsley and jasmine. The one from feathergills is not quite the same as I remembered.

Many perfumes are based on yak urine or musk oil - don't think where the oil comes from or how it's obtained, you won't buy perfume again

Another memory I had today was Lucky Bags, it was always a surprise to see what was in them...I think you can still get them but I bet theyre not as good....

Himself has an almost full bottle of Brut .......... bought in the 1970s.  Pity he used any of it, might be worth something now

I used to like the lemon sherbert that came in a sellophane bag with a red lolly. Perfume? Clinique and another in late 70s called Geminese - it smelt great. I would still wear it today it I could!!!!

Brylcreme yuk, I don't know anyone that wore that - but Old Spice territory!

My Dad used Brylcreem for his hair every day. Horrible, greasy stuff in a red and white tub!
