Minach - mentioned in another thread ......... the tales of Ambrose and the other cats, plus the seagull that came to stay - I have all the books somewhere - there's a small out-door theatre along that coast line too .........

Mum is slowly starting to feel a bit better after all her stays in hospital/shingles etc so yesterday we discussed the idea of going away for a few days.  I've booked us a nice static caravan up on the Suffolk/Norfolk border for 3 nights in a couple of weeks time - she's thoroughly looking forward to it :)   Just me and her although my youngest sister might come up for the day on the Friday  :)

You enjoy!  Hopefully the weather will have settled again.  Sitting.  Chilling.  Chatting.  Dozing ...... will do you all good  ;) - there's places to visit up there too .........

Thanks CLKD, Mum's really looking forward to it.  Already looked at boat trips nearby that are wheelchair accessible so that's a possibility, much will depend on the weather of course.  I'm not expecting it to be a holiday for me - this is for Mum, she's been through so much this year she really deserves a nice break  :)

Thanks HB, she's a great Mum as well  :)  I think it will be hard work but we're going away ourselves in September so I can have a proper break then, this is just for Mum  :)

Yes - get out there CLKD. Friends with their camper van have been out every weekend. They love the coast - really cool breezes. Take a fan!
