I totally understand what you meant SL and I'm grateful for the time you took to post it.

I have already sent the link to my daughter in the hope that she will find it helpful  :)

Now, if you could find something for my *bags*. And I'm not talking shopping here either.  :D

Well CM you know the answer to that one, it involves a bank loan, a very sexy plastic surgeon ( they all seem to be very charming) bruises for a few days, and them looking in the mirror and thinking WOW, people then starting to say have you just come back of holiday you look great 8)

Or you could out two teaspoons in the fridge for a while, put the back of the teaspoons on closed eye lids and lie down for an hour :)

Must admit I did not look for the youtube, I get Tonya's news letter in my inbox monthly.

Well to be honest SL, you know me.  I like the sound of the first choice best. But as it's been a short month, it'll have to be the tea spoons!    :)

Just thinking. Tea bags are supposed to be good for eye bags. Used ones of course. Lol

I used to try cold cucumber, but I am one of the most inpatient people on the planet. I can only sit still with them on my eyes for 5 minutes maximum, then I get bored and start thinking about all the things I could be doing.  Hopeless!

If the egg white makes your face nice and tight, I wouldn't wash it off!  ;D

Lovedovy, BCP is the birth control pill, it overides the ovaries and calms them down and gives a steady supply of artificial ones, its usually very good for the skin.

Just found some more interesting info, even Dr Studd is mentioned in article

This is not meant to be intense just for anyone interested.

Thanks for that SL.  :)

I'm still using a little Gynest cream in my usual moisturiser at night time.

Haven't noticed any real difference yet. But then it has only been two and a half weeks.

Yes I am like you LD. If I buy a new face cream or serum, I expect to see a positive result almost immediately, and why not? We pay enough dosh for them don't we? Lol

My OH goes mad at me sometimes. Poor man can't get to his own stuff in the bathroom cabinet for all my face creams and potions!  ;D

 ;D Good idea.
I have mine in the bathroom and bedroom.  I keep my day cream in the fridge so it stays nice and cool.  I take it out five minutes before I use it, just to take the chill off.

My OH thinks that I am quite mad!  ;D

;D Susan you'll make an alchemist yet! Lol

Have to say I still haven't really noticed much difference, if any. I mean. sometimes I look in the mirror and  think "Hmm you are looking younger girl". Then I look in a different mirror and frighten myself half to death!! Lol

We have to keep trying though don't we....don't we??

Hi all,
I found this very old thread re: face creams - wondered if there is any new news since 2012 when it was last updated? I would have thought if we are taking HRT the oestrogen would positively affect skin without smearing it in any proportions or mixtures directly; that is, if were to work at all.

So I cant go sticking my patches on my wrinkles then  :o

I think it sounds very interesting. I dont have too many wrinkles (yet) but my under eye area is a bit iffy and my jaw line is blurry now.

Holding back the years without surgery......hmmmm.....yes please.

I have been getting dysport in my crows lines and between eyes for 6 years. Amazingly effective.
