It was 10 in the car however the air temp has dropped mid-afternoon.  The ice - 3-5" thick - has melted  :o

Dull yesterday with blustery winds; this morning broke with a blue sky and ⛅️ 🌞.  Air can't decide whether it's chilly or not  ::)

11 in the car  :o.  I've ditched my zerofit base layer for something lighter with a scruffy jumper over the top.  DH kept his layer on and has felt too warm!


Looks like gentle rain will be watering my newly set plants into the border  :) 8)

I think it was foggy earlier, then sun ⛅️ ☀️ now fine drizzle.  Again.  The fields are sodden so water is pouring onto roads, 1 can't determine if it's a puddle or a pot hole filled with water  :o :o. Accidents waiting to happen  :-\

Warmer though have had to shed my base layer for something lighter  ::)

As soon as I hung thick towels and mats on the line at 11.30 it began to drizzle.  The 🌞 is back  8)

Biblical.  I'm scared now  :-\ especially for those living in the Fenland areas.  The pumps at St Germans near King's Lynn are reaching workable capacity ..... the Manager did say how many thousands of gallons are being pumped every second ....... I need to have a lookC at the Report from last night.  Of course if farmers didn't use such heavy machinery in recent years, fields wouldn't be standing in water with empty dykes  >:(

Even parts of our garden is flooded ......... ponds over flowing.  I need to get out with a shovel and move some mud!  It's not as cold - yet.  Frosts 4cast for the morning.

Any1 with more than 30 mins to waste, do have a lookC at Welney Wash FB pages - the stupidity of some lorry drivers !!! putting himself, his load and any rescuers at risk: plus the rise of diesel leakage.   >:(
