Awful.  Wild fires have been happening in the UK too - Wales and Yorkshire already.  Often caused by people leaving portable barbQS without putting them out, a bag of sand should suffice.  I would ban those completely!

Today there's a chill wind with lots of warm sunshine 🌞

Two days of intense heat which has meant that I stayed inside until dusk last night: there was a sudden black cloud plus a high wind followed by a heavy shower which hardly touched the ground!  Now it's rumbling around, bit like my guts  ::)

After an hour of thunder without lightning, the heavens have OPENED  :o this will fill the barrels  8). So dark that we've put the light on.  I've slept for 3 hours even through the 1st claps.   :-\

Scorchio here in the West of Scotland. I have the fan going in the living room already. The Cockapoo is lying in front of it  ;D
I thought the thunderstorm here yesterday would cool everything down but nope!

We had the cool air blower on until the early hours, wafting across our bodies.  Blue sky.  Haven't stepped outdoors yet.

Lovely :) Sunny and really hot.  I hope it continues because it almost makes me forget menopause madness.  Honestly, I feel 100% better than I did a month ago
