changes can be scary, even when we want them

20 suits me especially if there's no humidity. Retrievers are gun dogs ;-).
I put some towels on the line and it began to drizzle - however, that's now stopped without touching the ground
. All around the village the sky is
black
!

Rain
I tried hanging laundry but that didn't work. DH did some important cement work this afternoon
now it's heavy drizzle.

Overcast, the air is heavy and muggy. It rained a bit overnight but not enough to satisfy the lawn and garden.

Gorgeous sunny 23 degrees, not a lick of humidity. The weekend is a different story.

We had drizzle mid-day followed by a heavy shower which hardly touched the ground
after which the air has been muggy.
And I'm smelly

It's been nice so far, 27 degrees and sunny with a nice breeze. There is already a weather warning out for tomorrow as the humidex is to get over 40.

Dark clouds refuse to drop any rain .... which is OK in Birmingham and Leamington Spa where the Commonwealth Games are taking place

Muggy
. Fed up now. The sharp shower at 11.55 a.m. went no where
and now the humidity has shot up.

Stinkin' hot right now, the humidex is up over 40. A cold front is coming later tonight that will wipe out the humid air but lots of t-storms on the way too.

Managed to avoid the heavy t-storms last night, but got some rain anyway. Our youngest ds texted last night saying there was a tornado warning in his area but thankfully it was short-lived.
It's still very muggy this morning and hopefully, things will cool off after today's rains and possible storms.

Stupid hot already and it's not even 9:30 am.
Hoping the storms later will give some relief.

Bright. Sunny. Great for all the sporting events across the UK
Out with the hose pipe later to those plants that are showing signs of wilting. Heatwave expected mid-week
