Too hot to sit outside this afternoon having walked around most of the morning.

So I opened patio doors wide on to garden and flopped inside in the cool.
This evening is lovely too and have been in summerhouse with doors wide open and the evening sun pouring in.

Partly sunny and a bit muggy and breezy-24 degrees but feels like 30-ish.  We had a flash rain storm last night but the grass is still looking parched. We need a day or two of steady rain to green things up.

We don't have grass ;-). 

I have lost a small wiegellia shrub in the newly planted border which I forgot to water  :'(
Still warm and threatening into the mid-30s from Sunday!  :o

Partly cloudy with a nice breeze and about 25 degrees.  Hot and humid weather is coming for the weekend and into next week, humidex into the 30's.

I HATE humidity.  When we stayed in Pau we were all grabbing time on a very small balcony to get breeze, as the water was running literally down my legs and although I didn't look, probably down others  :-\

Cooler.  Respite B4 the next burst of heat!

We’re all going to suffer in the next couple days, even if we like the warmth, predicting 40 degrees. 🙀😩

We don't need to suffer!  Keep windows shut and curtains closed until evening.  Have ice blocks/peas in the freezer to put round your neck/feet.  Drink plenty of cooling drinks as well as tea/coffee as hot drinks cause sweating which cools the body.

Eat little and often to keep energy levels even.  Look at the housework but on no account tackle any  ;)  <goes away whistling> (my smilie won't work  >:( )

We are lucky to have shade in the garden as required as well as in the house.  Will this all end in one huge thunder storm?  People are being told to go to the coast: yeah! Right! sitting in a queue with all those others ...........  ::)

Breeze gently wafting through the house as I have windows open  ;) ......... doors open.  If the breeze becomes warm, everything will be shut down.  I will probably sleep; I did yesterday, 3k to go on le Tour  >:(

 ;D. my cocker would never have gone in a pool, she would go up to her ankles then whinge  ::)

75F in our lounge.  Windows/curtains closed.  Blower on.  Liquids to hand.
