Still raining, lots of flooding.  whole towns have gone under. In South East Queensland a minimum of 600mm to over 1000mm and still raining. So many floods warnings and six people dead so far.

same as yesterday.lovely sunshine and blue skies. Expected to be in double figures by lunchtime. Currently 22 in my lounge with no heat on, just bathed in sunshine.

Thats a lot of rain  is the forecast for it to stop soon, are there rivers nearby that are flooding or is it just the volume of the rain ?

That's sad.  I remember in The Thorn Birds, flooding

On and off sunny breaks but quite breezy from the north west. It's going to get "stupid cold" again tomorrow.

Brisbane river is flooding and had high tide this morning that didn’t help. Brisbane main dam is at 174%, and they are trying to slowly release the water in the dam, so that doesn’t help. And I don’t understand how it can be over 100% but that’s the figures they give.

Lots of shops and school are closed because people can’t get to work because of roads being flooded.
We have had a year worth of rain in three days. Today the sun trying to come out, tomorrow is fine, then the rain comes back in.

Pennyfarthing funny how you say it’s warm in your home at 22 degrees. I would be rugged up and wearing slippers. We had a very mild summer with a top of 33 degrees, but it’s been a humid summer too. It’s the humidity that gets to you

My late friend lived in Brisbane, she complained that she was cold at 20 - I would tell her that we would love to feel 20 for a few days  , however the humidity there is draining.

Here it's grey skies, light drizzle and 12 in the car.

More sunshine this morning but very cold going to work.  There are still patches of hard ice on the roads and school playgrounds. It's been too cold for the sun to melt any of it.

I'm fed up with the drizzle  .  I need some warmth

I cannot wait for Spring.  I want to sit outside in the warmth.  I even want to cut the grass.

Not too cold today, sun was out but it's cloudy again.     Sunday is forecasted to be 13 degrees, then it'll get cold again.
