Rain, rain and more rain. I’m from Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. We had on Friday in 20 hours over 200mm of rain. It’s still going at least another 100 mills on Saturday and it’s only 5.30pm.
They recon the rain will ease of on Monday then come back again. It’s been a very wet summer and it will apparently go up to July.
This is like the rain we have had in the 1974 floods and the 2019 floods. Lots and lots of roads under.
My daughter was driving along the Brisbane riverside motorway. And she said the river was very high and you could already see things floating along the river. For anybody who’s been to Brisbane, South Bank went under in the 2019 floods.
I’m fine I live on a bit of a hill, my neighbour rain runs into my yard and down the side of my house, but can only get so high then it runs on to my over neighbour houses.
Oh, at least I don’t have to water the garden.
It’s all or nothing in Australia, we get cyclones and floods or no rain, each gives us bad bush fires.
