Hi! do U use sun-screen to protect the face from wind-chill etc.?  I often forget but it would be advisable to put something on the skin against the elements.

I have a fleece neck warmer that can go over the face for the windchill. I used to run in this type of weather...crazy I know lol.  When I worked in the running store we told customers that sunscreen does not protect the skin from windchill, you need to use a barrier like a scarf, neck warmer or even vaseline if you're out for a longer time.

'vaseline' would be my suggestion.  A thick layer across the skin to stop the wind getting to it.

Cloudy again, but milder.  We have been warned of strong winds coming later this afternoon into the evening. I won't have to worry about our lighted snowman being blown over again,  it's safe in the garage drying out before we put it back in the box. ;D

Very sharp frost until 10.30 when the sky clouded over, temperature is dropping fast.  Dry. Cold.

Gusty winds died down overnight, now it's cold again and the sun is thinking about coming out.

OH! for some sunshine that lasts more than half a day  ::)

At least we aren't stuck in Afghanistan with no shelter, warm clothing or regular food  :'(
