Its a local bakers who make a cake at this time of the year with marzipan, its a sponge cake rectangle with marzipan around the outside, chocolate covering the bottom and jam and buttercream on the top
I love them but they only make them in the few weeks before Christmas, which might be fortunate because I think the calories might be on the high side
I’ve updated my avatar with a photo of it, its come out sideways tho
They also make fabulous custard slices (you might call them vanilla slices) once you pick it up your fingers sink into the icing and you cannot put it down, well thats my excuse
