After heavy early rain yesterday the sunshine was warm all day.
This morning began OK, now it's dull, dull, dull  >:(

I hung laundry out - brought it in, there was a very black cloud which didn't fall on us, suprisgnly  :o.  Been out to feed the hogs and it's not cold.

It would seem that heavy rain has caused Bassenthwaite Lake to cover the flood plain and enter the Derwent Lake near Keswick.  A place we know well, we stayed in Keswick several times.  Cockermouth - which was flooded badly 5 years ago, is hit again.  Awful. 

Here, it's April showers  >:(

FIERCE. It's rained most of the night here in the Midlands.  Now it's throwing itself, trying to get into the windows  :o - slashing rain, blustery high winds ....... not a bird on the place  :-\.  No archery practice today then!  Laundry may well be in the next town by 11.00 a.m., heading North!

It's going to be warmer until the end of the week across England.  Hopefully my laundry will dry on the line .......

It was sunny and cold most of the day.  The clouds came mid-afternoon and it rained around supper time.
