Had lightening for the last hour.
Now we've got the thunder and rain to go with it.

Same here. Bedroom like an oven but have had to shut windows as rain beating in. OH fast asleep. As usual! House full of mossies at bedtime - lots of water nearby, so often a year round problem here.

36/38 C in le Tour ....... 24 in our car thus far but will be humid after the storm

According to DH we had thunder storm last night with torrential rain but I slept through it but as I hadn't watered garden yesterday that was a bonus.

Still warm here this morning I'm working this afternoon it will be nice to have air con.

We had a thunderstorm with heavy rain at around 3am for about 30mins. Our bedroom was like an oven, didn't want air con on all night too noisy. Today has been a mixture of cloud and sunny spells, slightly cooler and a nice breeze. Now the whole house is like an oven, it's cooler sitting outside in the shade!!

Despite the rain in the early hours it went nowhere

. Pots all dry because the water ran off the leaves so I've watered the pots ..... and topped up the pond.

It will be lovely around 7.30 p.m. ;-)

Bracing myself for 39 tomorrow. A couple degrees cooler tonight than last night, but still no breeze.
Might try to sleep downstairs tonight
