Cooler and fresher today with a chilly wind the sky's now grey think it may rain typical as I watered the garden tubs pots and hanging baskets earlier.

1 needs to water pots/baskets even if it rains.  Due to the fact that the leaves divert rain from the compost they may not get watered at all.
