Wind is realy getting up. My neighbour in the flat below has loads of wind chimes. They sound nice with a gentle breeze but right now it's a cacophony!!!

Yorkshire girl. I would take a drizzly day in the Dales over a drizzly day in my London suburb.
I have friends just outside Todders and the only time I dontv envy them is when it snows. I realy need visit there again.  Less than an hour to Manchester which I love and the village they live in is like emmerdale. Their house has gorgeous views and the "woolpack" is right next door!!
I usually go for MCR pride but missed it last year due to operation and my health ain't  gonna let me get there this year. Shame cos I love it.

I think we are on the edge of what is threatened  :o.  A chair went over in the early hours and birds are flying backwards.  Chilly too.

Horrible, I hate the wind. I was sitting downstairs at 2.30 when the gusts were over 70mph hoping that we would still have a roof in the morning.

Still have a roof but some plants are looking very sorry this morning and some trees down around the area  :-\

Well DH re-aquaints himself with the Hoovery-thingy. Plugs it in and pushes it around the bedroom which is where I have the worst of my sniffles and sneezes.  Even moves the furniture sometimes.  Dust causes most of my problems, 2ndly heat: we ditched the duvet over 25 years ago as a change of temperature sets off the sneezing.

So a Deep Clean in the bedroom really eases symptoms.

It's sunny but still really windy, I've hung washing on the line. I hope I've used enough pegs I don't want to ask my neighbours if I can have my pants back  ;D

In Whitby this morning was a sun/cloud affair and no wind but chilly.
