We keep being promised this warm air from Africa and sunshine but it struggles to put in an appearance here in SW England. It came out briefly but back to grey misty gloom again...

We've been very lucky with the weather this week. I just hope the grass doesn't notice as I really don't want to have to get the mower (code for husband) out any time soon

Thick fog earlier. Then the sky cleared.

After a cold damp start the sun appeared and it's been a beautiful day ☀️ pity I've been stuck indoors at work all day but I'm off at the weekend and the forecast is for great weather.

After all the sunny days we have had this week, feel we've been the only place in the country under a blanket of fog today! Sun tried to come out towards end of day then the fog descended again!!

Did the fog lift? Started with sharp frost, now calm and clear from a blue sky. Long may it last!
