I wear layers.  Wool is better than man-made fibres.  Lots of gloves, wooly hats, thick socks ...... good quality slippers.  Electric blanket ...... why would I want to get out of bed in the Winter  ;D

I no, wish I was rich and had a lovely villa somewhere warm I could go to in the winter months. I nor,ally walk round the house when it's cold with a hot water bottle down my pants 😂Xxx

Maybe a menopause Villa in the Italian Lakes then?  Then into somewhere warm from November?

I'm just getting into my element so to speak - Autumn and the promise of Winter on the way just makes me feel complete somehow. As some people get that little shiver of excitement when the earth begins to stir in Spring I get the same feeling as the plants and trees give a sigh of a job well done and settle down for a rest in Autumn.  :D

We haven't really enjoyed good weather since May in Cumbria.  I love my little Beurer electric blanket. Just the right size for my back and keeps me snug in the winter months when just sitting

I'm with you there dahliagirl - I love it when 21st Dec comes - Christmas to look forward to AND lighter evenings yay! It will soon be upon us.... Make the most of the next 3 months Taz  ::) - or is it the dark days of winter in Jan and Feb that you really relish?!
