Rain first thing, dry from 9-12 then rain for an hour, from 3pm sunny spells now the clouds have melted away it's a beautiful evening.

Wild wild wind rain and generally stormy weather - this is not late July  :o - more like autumn. Put paid to my plans for gardening today. My hollyhocks are waving about and my prize spikes which reach up to the top of the bedroom window are now leaning over despite having been tied up! Weather gearing up for the school hols....

Just driven back from doing the shopping, through dark skies, heavy rain and cars with their headlights on.  Yeuch.  I just kept thinking about the cuppa that awaited me when I got in.   Am enjoying that now.  Aaah..............!   :)
