It was a tad chilly at beach this afternoon. Chilly breeze. Never happy.  Couldn't cope with that heat Pennyfarthing. I'd have been in the pool, with a pina colada or a strawberry daiquiri.

Apart from the swim, I stayed in the shade Cubagirl and it was blissful. At 10pm tonight it was still 29c. Just got back to our hotel room and air con in the room is perfect.  Had plenty of pina coladas today but never tried a strawberry daiquiri. Will try tomorrow.

Scorchio in West Wales. Hubby swam in the sea ( in his pants) and said it was blissful.  36Degrees in car at one point and air con struggling.  Way too hot for me, got fan going flat out and still boiling 😩
I dint like it this hot,  Mid 20s is perfect for me 🌞

GHog - I haven't swum in the sea for years .......... too many crawlies and stingy things in the water  . had you taken a towel?

I was given the job of making these for a recent party, so easy! Blending a punnet of strawberries, two bottles of Strawberry and Lime wine, juice of a lime and a 'dash' or two of vodka- froze the mixture.
Served it like a slush puppy for grown ups- really tasty and perfect for hot weather

Salad, oh that's my kind of daiquiri,  in a pool, sun beating down. Shame I'm in the northeast, no pool. Sun yes, but not warm enough here for sunbathing.

70 would be lovely.  Up to 88 in our utility room which faces East ........ sun doesn't go off there until 2.30-ish 

Not that *I'm* complaining ....... much    feeling queasy with it now .

Coolest place in our house is currently at 23 degrees. Not much sun, just very warm.

Feel better again, have eaten in little bits ......... in the cool with the blower going

up to 30 in the car at 11.30  - now down to 28

Roasting here but with a light breeze so manageable. So glad that I'm not down South East anymore and that terrible humidity,it used to kill me !

It's killing me too dazned, it's truly horrific!

We are very sheltered here and temps in our back garden were 35 yesterday, 33 today. Aside from the sitting room and dining room, the house is like a furnace. I'm keeping all south facing windows and doors firmly closed with the blinds down which helps a little but trying to sleep is hellish!

How much longer is this going to last? I might drive up and join you girls in Scotland, still hankering after that little Scottish fishing village!! x

It was 25 in the garden this afternoon but there is a sea breeze so although it's hot for here the house is cool. Windows have been open all day.
This morning at about 7am I was in the garden with the dog and all I could smell was the sea. It's just lovely. I went for a paddle this morning. Only up to my knees though as the water was freezing 
I really don't envy you girls in the south right now.

Tomorrow is rain.... .

That's the trouble with Scotland...you get about two weeks of summer a year. The rest of the time is cold and wet.
