At the moment, it's blanket-grey, breezy and chucking splots (no, Mr. Spell-Checker - I know this isn't a real word!) of rain on to the windows.

More promised until the weekend - well it *is* a Bank Holiday

We had lots of splots too dulciana.  Big heavy, wet ones plus a flash of lightning, but now its dry again.

At least there's a breeze tonight, though.  Last night at dusk, the trees were so still that we could see the birds settling down to bed in them.

Hit 24° at one point. Unheard if this early up here. Currently lying on top of the bed trying to cool off. Fat chance! 😧😧😧

26° here yesterday,  I think a fair few Glaswegians will be lobster coloured today as it was definitely a 'taps aff' day   

Normally love the heat and can cope with 40° abroad, but these hot flushes make it a whole new ball game!

Says 19° at the moment, but feels much hotter. Sun has got his hat on. So has hubby, he's creosoting fence. I've bought the ice lollies, hard work ice lolly purchasing!

🎵 Feeling hot hot hot 🎵 for the past few days but thank Heavens today has a breeze. I can't even pretend I enjoy the summer, should have been an Inuit!
