Bright sunshine after very heavy rain in the night. Then it became very muggy ……. with lighter showers.
My friend in Brisbane complains that she feels chilly when temps drop to 24C - I tell her we wish it got to 24 occasionally

Got home 2 hours ago in a very heavy rain storm, had to sit in the car and read the papers for 20 mins.
- it has thundered intermittently since, now the TV reception is poor ……… drizzling hard so my idea that it was going to be hot went out the window!

Oh, we've had the blue skies, very intense heat followed by thunder ……… it made me very ill, I was almost on my knees by Wed.
it also gets humid here - is it the same in Brazil?

We just had overhead thunder so loud DH nearly fell off his ladder, rain so torrential the cars were causing tidal waves and our garden was flooded. Settled down to a steady downpour now and the thunder sounds like my tummy rumbling.

Finally a cessation - the sky remains dark grey and the drizzle is lighter ……. not a lot cooler though
