It's freezing here - plunged back into winter - and it's spring in two days! So dull and grey - and I was sitting in the sun a few days ago .... Boo....

It's been very grey and cool today.
Cold at night (-1 last night).
Thankfully - it's calm, no wind at all.

I'm sure it will be warmer soon Hurdity. In the meantime I'm enjoying looking out of the window pretending it's November and Winter's still to come. lol.

Humph - yes I hadn't realised the equinox was today as I hadn't looked it up so going on the standardised 21st! So even worse that it is still b*** cold and dull today.

Taz - you don't get daffodils in November :na: but I don't expect you can see these!!!!

21st is the First day of Spring!

I've been outside gardening, occasionally the sun comes out and is right warm :-).  Pouring through the lounge window.

Google thinks today (20th) is the 1st day of spring so it must be true   ::)
Today is the vernal equinox which apparently is the 1st day................................

Today the weather has been benign.
Dry, no wind or rain.

Never heard a thing!  One of our garden cloches moved across the garden and almost back into position, washing is pegged tightly onto the line or it will end up in Oxford  ;D.

Bright sunshine.  Blue sky.  Not cold.

Oh we did Sparkle. I hardly got any sleep, it really started to kick off at about 1am & didn't ease off till 7am. We have relatives on holiday on the I.O.W. in a caravan. They said their caravan was rocking all night   ::) ::). Anyway back to normal now.
