Oo-er Kate50 - I have a good friend also who lives in Chalais for half the year (summer months) and the other half in England!

We're having mixed sunshine and showers today and also a cold wind - before the next (silly-named) storm appears :)

CBA today as my kids would say.  Got house work to do and just can't be bothered to get out of bed. Slept better last night though.  Hurdity we are going on hols in July in between chalais and cognac so will be seeing my friend would love to be living there now!

Really strong gales and torrential rain here. No thunder thank goodness as I hate it. My son had a brilliant (his words) storm early this morning and I've messaged him that he can keep it!  The window cleaners have just arrived  ;D

Blustery.  Heavy gusts …….. all night.  Air colder, birds busier on the feeders.  A break in the rain mid-morning so we dashed to the shops.  Fire glowing in the hearth.  Rain lashing against the windows  :sigh:

Sounds lovely to me too. It was my day off today and I really enjoyed just staying in and watching all the weather through the windows while I ate chocolate (birthday pressy) and read my book. I've felt so lazy!

Sunny on Thursday.
Very frosty with sunshine on Friday morning, changing to drizzle.
Sat. and Sun. nice enough to do lots of gardening
Rain over-night followed by bright sunshine - more gardening done this morning  :) - air is much colder again though.
