Calm & chilly. Henry on his way. Hubby hates the fact they've named the storms as it makes it more noticeable.

I said a storm's a storm named or not. Naming them was so they could make people more aware.

After a lovely 'doing' day this morning dawned with heavy drizzle

- so am sorting out boxes ready to put into auctions, getting 'rid'! Sun keeps trying

Pretty wild! I've just driven back round Arthur's Seat and it didn't seem too bad there, but now I'm back, it sounds wilder. Don't like wind. When our daughter was very little, she used to say, "Don't like the hoo-ey wind!" Me neither.

Amazing sky up here tonight. It was stunning. Rainbow clouds, mother of pearl clouds & one of the most amazing sunsets we've ever seen anywhere. Deep red. Maybe you will see from this.

Think quite a few places had skies like that last night, bit scary

. Henry blew a gale here, glad it's calmed down now - just been getting all the recycling picked up from garden, bin blew over scattering it everywhere

Unbelievably wild wild wet pouring rain and very windy here in the SW - it's been dark all day and there is a river of muddy water running down our lane almost reaching to the gate of our front garden! There was a power cut in the night. I presume this is normal for Scotland from what I've been seeing on the news!!
