Well, Storm Barney isn't too bad here at the moment. garden chairs blown over and that's it really.  I can hear it blowing with TV on and double glazing but I've known a lot worse.

Thanks Honeyb - Turns out the winds were actually gusting 82 mph.
But it may just be starting to drop a bit now.

Barney is being good to us thus far. But Clodagh following hot on his heels apparently. Then snow by Friday. Yippee I can hardly wait!

Very windy here tonight. Bins rolling down the road. Cats all spooked - wide eyed, bushy tails - at every different noise. Fence panels rattling and... worst of all... someone has got an outside windchime... jingle jingle JANGLE JANGLE JANGLE jinglejanglejinglejangle. I will track it down!!

Wind dropped right away at midnight last night but started up again at 8am with steady rain.
Very very windy again here.
Local small lanes are more like streams - bit too exciting when driving along.

I was going to suggest to Himself that we went shopping - then the sky went black and it is now throwing rain at the windows, trying to get in  :o.  Birds are flying backwards.

It's been really wild and windy here - I love it - leaves dancing everywhere and yes our cat was skittering about too - they always get a bit lairy in the wind! :)
