I just dress for the weather whatever it is as the seasons tend to be a bit less reliable nowadays.  The date doesn't really matter to me as much as what the weather is doing.  It can be cold in August and really hot in September or October and in our house we just adjust accordingly otherwise it is like saying you can't eat lunch because it is only 11.45 and not yet lunch time, even if you are ravenously hungry  :)

Find it very depressing now the mornings are darker, had to use my torch for a 5.20am loo trip, bit awkward with crutches.......... ::)

Today it's dry and nicely bright.
OH is trying to take advantage of the dry and replace some guttering.

Thanks CLKD - the torch I use has a hook on the back on it, which can be hung on a nightshirt.
It's sill a bit reluctant to stay put when used with crutches  ::)

I don't wear a night shirt  :-\  ;D - how about leaving the landing light on?

Er - We sleep downstairs so no landing and there are 2 big steps to get up to the level where the loo is.
Then, across a big room then up another 4 steps. It would be too many lights to leave on, it'd disturb OH and possibly the owls as well  ::)

How about those night lights that plug into sockets at floor level?  One can buy some that flick on as you walk by  ;)

A bucket required Limpy.  ;D....not so far to walk.

Still daylight up here and after a lovely day the temperature is falling really quickly.

Certainly not summery in the evening any more.

Since May we haven't sat out in the evenings  :-\ and I bought pretty solar lights for round the patio area so haven't enjoyed those.  No longer know how many hogs are visiting  :-\ ……….. don't see the bats.  Heating on this evening . I've declared Winter  ::)
