I just looked at Met Office forecast for here. No heat wave for here. However, daughter will be basking in 27Â°C. I've asked hubby if we can move south.

Driving drizzle here. Of course I realise this is due to the sun sweating!

The BBC weatherman for Wales has been muttering that summer starts on Wednesday.
We'll see......

I have just seen our forecast for Monday into Tuesday. 50 mile an hour winds

I'm going to take down my hanging baskets and put them in the garage. I'm not prepared to loose all my plants. I will try and protect other stuff in pots by puting them in sheltered positions.

Heavens above, winds of that speed at this time of year is rediculous. I would complain if I knew who to complain too

1st June & temp is 9Â° but says it feels like 7Â°. That must be why I'm hugging the radiator! Just had to don warmer outfit for our lunch today. Started out in linen trousers & lightweight shirt. Eh, no. Now in warmer trousers, long sleeved top & big cardigan! This is ridiculous! Wind would cut you in half.
