No more snow and what we did have didn't lay.
Still bitterly cold though.

We have quite a lot of lying snow and it's frozen on the side roads. It's really very cold here. I think I will leave the heating on very low tonight. Dont want any frozen pipes.

Had to drive through a horrible hailstorm which suddenly came on half way on our journey to take grandchildren home. Traffic chaos everywhere. Very relieved to get there. Not so bad coming home thank goodness

We had our first proper snow yesterday - and it came down quickly and thickly for about 2 hours - a little more overnight, but its already melting and now just cold! To think I used to love snow when I was young..... now I teeter about like the old lady I am afraid of falling....

The hail storm froze but is melting now. Birds busy. Sky was grey first thing (8.30) but sky is now blue.

Bright blue skies and beautiful sunshine. The temperature has not got above 1
degree.

From 8.30-11.00 p.m. it snowed gently. Covered the ground then froze but only where it touched: i.e. near the house walls the path is clear. So have fed wild birds several times this morning and new delivery of live meal worms arrived, everyone is happy

â€¦â€¦â€¦ blue sky. Brisk wind but not particularly cold. Snow is thawing but expect it will freeze again this evening.

Blue skies, lots of sun, gentle breeze.
Pegged washing out - it didn't really dry. $:-\$
Suspect that max temperature of 3Â°C had quite a bit to do with that
