Had to go out at lunchtime... it was bitter! Snow flurries here, strong winds blowing now.

Hubby just went out. Its blowing a gale & we have snow flurries. He asked if he'd need gloves & hat. Mmmmm let me think.

Rain this morning, now bright but very windy.  Back fence now loose and have done temporary repair.  Left message for proper repair (more money!!!).

Sympathies rosebud. Happened to us during a summer storm a few years back. One of the posts had rotted right through and one strong gust snapped it. Down came a 12ft section of fencing. Hubby had to go & buy thick rope & tie it up to hold it from taking off down the road. Wasn't cheap to get it fixed properly either.  Got 3 fencing folk out, only one quoted.

Earthquake in Rutland last night  :o one in Winchester 2 nights ago …..

Bright sunshine.  Blue sky.  Am hearing that Snow is a problem above Scotch Corner  :-\ ……… off to feed our birds!

It did for us once right in the middle of ............... it was truly something to remember.

No snow here and not very cold, our local weather forecasted a red weather warning last night but did say the snow fall would vary from region to region.

We had 10 large snow flakes from a blue sky this morning ………. now the sky is black and the birds busy on the feeders.  DH is laying the fire.  I understand that parts of Yorkshire have it bad, Manchester Airport was gridlocked from 10.30 a.m. flights to N York were delayed ………

Oh it's arrived!  heavy sleet and hail from a very grey sky ……….. birds all gone.  DH going to put off filling the coal bucket, I have suggested that he goes whilst he can still see across the Yard  ;D ……… and before it begins to lay  ::) so he's gone, muttering  ;D

Horrid this morning, 1°C (guess who's finding out more about driving her macbook) with very strong winds and heavy soft hail / sleet. Then had a little bit of snow which cleared very quickly. Now blue skies, dry and sunny, still only 2°C so hot it ain't.
