in like a lamb and out like a lion then Honeybun …….. I have a few ceramic statues to find homes for, bought during the Summer they won't stand being frosted.

My garden seems to fill up with stuff over the summer. Things I find on the beach, painted slates, a lantern, ceramic stuff that the kids painted years ago. A very very small rowing boat, shells,driftwood. Hubby despairs  . He keeps getting rid of stuff and I keep getting more.

   ………. I have plastic ducks all round the pond or hiding in the undergrowth and 2 ducklings on the water.  The rest is ceramic so I don't make it easy for myself  ………. the 2 naked boys with urns stay out and I expect the naked lady on her knees will be OK unless it gets very very cold ………

Weather storm force here on North Uist. Ferries cancelled and very hard to get into the car with the wind! Waves crashing on the rocks- I love it!

Lovely, sunny and warm this morning but dull,cloudy and a little wet now.

It's heading my way Machair. I went to school with a girl whose family came from North Uist.

I have never been that far north......yet.

We are just coming to the end of a lovely week in a cottage in North Yorkshire, the weather has been wonderful every day. We brought coats and waterproofs but haven't worn any of them. Today its sunny and windy with a slight chill in the air but the autumn colours are beautiful. I suspect it will be all change tomorrow and the rain and gales will follow us south as we go home down to Worcestershire

I've put my garden ornaments away for winter. Wind is increasing, so glad I've done that. Hopefully my ornamental lights will survive. They have up until now, they're very low set so should be OK. Watering can is full of water so it should stay in place too.

Beautiful sunny day - started off a bit chilly though.

Cold first thing and just starting to get cold again now but beautiful this afternoon - warm and sunny. Looks like the wind is due to pick up here from Friday and we really get strong winds where we are as we are high up. We have become very lax over the last few months with leaving stuff around outside so a bit of a tidy up is due.

Been in cyprus for nearly a week, its now 10pm and sittn in garden wearing my pjs having a glass of wine.

Steady 29degrees all week just love it.

Horribly windy this morning - lessened now.
Just waiting for the 30-40 mm of rain predicted for early tomorrow morning.

We had heavy rain from 7am this morning, sun's out now though, at 1.50pm,  We have the Kiddies carnival procession through the town at 3pm, and main carnival at 7pm. Hope the rain stays away, so many people turn out to watch, and so much money put into doing the floats they need people to put coins in the collectors buckets.

Still raining here. Son's GF's sister was graduating this morning. Shame it was lousy weather for her, although I'm sure she will enjoy the celebrations despite the rain.
