Very windy and wet. Outdoor Christmas tree went over during the night even though it has pegs and a paving slab keeping it down.

Very stormy last night, but not as bad today. Still windy & grey though.

Feel sorry for everyone who got flooded over Christmas. Never good time to get flooded, but always worse at this time.

They predicted 3 months of snow. Instead we're getting terrible storms.

It's bright blue sky and blustery so off for a walk soon before it turns chillier.

Here in Scotland off for chilly walk with darkening skies, then back in to fires , tea and Christmas cake, and Turkey dinner ( this is the second one) tonight, always tastes better when its matured a bit,

DH and I have had a long walk, in high winds which have subsided.  I really wasn't ready for the distance, fortunately there is a cafe half way round ...... met lots of lovely dogs to stroke, I don't miss the mud but I do miss the walks <sigh>

OH put it upright this morning, but it's gone again. It can't fly off though as its plugged into the shed.

Very wet. Need to go to the supermarket, but it's bouncing it down.

Was lovely this morning. Now it's dull & wet again.

When the showers hit they were violent.  When the sun came out, it was bright ……… roads have been awash with running water, the drains can't cope and that's on the slopes  ………. had towels on the line and they were thrashing around, birds have had difficulty getting to the feeders except in the lulls when the wind dropped.

Colder too - got the baubles off the outdoor trees and had to do it in 3 goes even though I had a thick coat on

Crikey it was bad down here on the south coast at 10.30 this morning.
I was at work & the wind got up, the hail came down & I thought the roof was going to come off the warehouse. The hailstones were going round & round in like a vortex. It was quite scary.

One road to a local town is still closed because of flooding.

 Warm and lovely.  Have missed the artic blast in the west coast, but will get cooler beginning tomorrow, but not outrageous as elsewhere in US.    Can't really go RV ing up for at least two, maybe three months as the water will freeze.
