Heavy rain last night & early morning - then the sun came out - which was nice.

It's really cold here today and quite windy. Temperature is only 3degrees but it feels much colder.

Brrrr it's getting so cold.

For 4 nights the wind has got up and blown really hard for hours!  Fortunately gone by morning.  We planned a walk in bright sunshine but by the time we had eaten breakfast and sorted out coats, the sky was BLACK and the heavens opened  ………. then the air got colder as the day went on …….. seasonal then?

Here in Sussex it blew a hooley all night    …….. drizzled intermittently.  Not cold.

Wow down my neck of the woods again CLKD... Where did you go? Arundel, Chichester or further East like Brighton/Hastings.
It does get windy along the south coast sometimes.

I don't know if fun was the word I would use but we enjoyed ourselves.  After I had fallen heavily in the dark and picked myself up ………. we walked miles and miles and ……..

Blustery.  Heavy drizzle.  Some in Cornwall are without power    .......... bin day so lots of rattling going on outdoors.  Expected to get much worse before Boxing Day

Weve got sideways rain, hail stones and its so cold here (near wigan) the cat has hunkered down in the airing  cupboard, cosy warm, may join him! Brrrrrrrr, thermals on.

Howling wind - gusting 75 mph.
Heavy rain, interspersed with hail.

Hunkering down and glad we aren't travelling for another 24 hours !  Birds are hiding, I saw one trying to fly onto a feeder earlier and it didn't get there, got blown past  ......... I have put food onto the lower feeders hopefully they will find that with less problem.
