Rained lots in the morning, bright and sunny now but it is very windy.
However, I don't think we are going to get it as bad as the south.

Barometer has moved about 2" to "Change".  It's been a lovely mild and sunny day here.

Winds picking up now. I have had to get the bird feeders in as I don't want them disappearing off - cost too much!

The cats are all out in the garden tearing around and jumping about like lambs - all four paws off the ground at the same time.. apart from one who has only got three paws to jump about on!

Both our horses were like loonies this morning and jumping around kicking their front legs up, then their back legs. It looks really funny and they always do it when the wind is getting up.

Slept most of the night
Blustery this morning
Lots of rain
Heavy drizzle
Chickens inside otherwise they will end up being swept into the village  ;D
Not doing washing in case the electricity goes out

Same here CG as you know. Lucky if we get a warning let alone the Prime Minister talking about it  ::)

Three years ago our village was cut off due to floods and high winds. My son was working in our next nearest town and could not get home. Some very kind policemen gave him a lift in their 4x4. They came through the country park next to us. Don't know what the neighbours thought if they saw him being dropped off in the middle of the night. ;D

Its raining here with a slight wind, we missed the storm, looks pretty grim in some parts of the South and East though.

Thank goodness it's next week I'm heading to Notts! Mind you when I went this time last year, weather was awful. The wind down there was bad. Pilot must have worked hard to land plane as we were getting buffeted and I thought we'd end up landing on the M1 instead.  ;D
However, I do feel for those you who have suffered storm damage. Never good.

Hope everyone came through without any damage and all your power is back on.

Hope that's it for a while. Next thing will be snow. Two inches and the country grinds to a halt  ::)
