We had a few rumbles of thunder in early hours of morning and rain, its still raining and hot and sticky, it feels like you are surrounded by thick air, not pleasant.

Just want warm crisp sunshine 8)

No rain here & still muggy, however there are a few dull clouds lurking overhead.
I best head out for the dog walk soon.

It's wet - rain is  ::) ....... thunder is noisey .......... sky is dark.  Muggy ............

thunderstorms since 4 this morning, just dried up but the sky is very dark so i think another on the way  :( still very warm, the forecast is for this all week and i don't like it, never now what to wear if it's really warm but wet  :(

There's something lurking above us. Wind keeps picking up, then dropping. Skies are darkening from the south. Temperature up & down a bit too. And as I speak the heavens have opened.

Thunder and lightening here this morning. It's very muggy and I am tired after a disturbed night. We had a power cut and when the power came back on our house alarm went off. Trying to remember the code number in the middle of the night and in the dark was fun.
Yes I could have turned on the light to see what I was doing but forgot the power had come back on.    ::)

Sorry HB  ;D That's the kind of thing I would have done too.  We didn't sleep well here either. Mind you I knew I had to be up early to let gas engineers into son's place as they were due a service check, but also had a leaky radiator which needed fixing before new guy moves in.
Thunder would help clear the air.

Muggy.  Will have to shower later.  Have been cleaning the bathroom and washing the floor in there - that rooms faces East  >:(

I thought I smelt a kind of burning smell earlier. Not like something on fire. But then I used to smell snow when we lived in Inverness. Hubby thought and probably still thinks I've lost it!  ;D

Do you know, it's funny you said that I could detect a sort of smokey/bonfire smell in the garden today.

We had some rain the in the night but it didn't wake us.  Still very muggy and just an odd rumble of thunder.
