I shampooed the lounge carpet this morning and left the patio door open and the windows. Perfect day for doing this. I did it before the sun moved round.

It's been just on 30C here today. I have the house nice and cool - blinds all closed and also curtains and ceiling fan going in kitchen. Plenty of windows open too. It can stay like this until October for me!

it's been lovely - so long as we remained inside with the windows open, curtains closed. Washing out and dried.

very hot again

off to shower now and wash hair, bit fed up of having to wash it everyday, as it's waist length i normally wash it every other day but it's going so frizzy in this heat i have to keep washing it, any tips on calming fly away frizzy hair $:-\$

I would let it be in this weather Kerrie, your hair sounds gorgeous, sometimes wish I had never cut my waist length hair.

Put it in a ponytail

Yesterdays heat was unbearable, but today its a little cooler, but gearing up for 31c on Monday and 32c on Tuesday

Very warm here already. I guess we will be hiding from the heat again today.

My neighbour would really struggle if there was a hose pipe ban as he is obsessed with his.

He is out playing with it every night. He washes his car in little sections. It can be funny to watch.
I really need to get a life don't I.

Being on East Coast we had overnight fog, which kept temperature down. Pity one of my neighbours car alarm went off 4 times between 12 & 3! But that's another story.
This morning it is 15 degrees, with the promise of 22 by lunch time.

The headline in the Express "100 degree heatwave" forecast for next week. Cooler today and tomorrow but then a return to baking temperatures. I'm making the most of today!!
