Never got above 14C today and hardly saw the sun.  Such a shame as time is marching on. We had 2 lovely days the last Bank holiday and maybe 4 days since then (very far apart) where it's been what I call a proper summers day.

We fried in Notts. Simmered in Balloch. Cooler now we're home, but it's a relief.

Pennyfarthing - where do you live - it sounds miserable - 14 degrees?
We've had hot hot sun for days and barely a cloud in the sky in SW England.... not complaining though - but I can't resist being out in it!

Norfolk.  Don't know what's happened this year because we usually have highest sunshine records in country.  It is overcast yet again and they are saying that the sun will burn through at lunchtime. No sign of it yet.

Have been seeing other parts of the country on TV and am very jealous.  Last Friday was lovely and so was Saturday and Sunday was fabulous.  Since then we've not really had any sun. Can't remember the last time we had rain though - the ground is rock hard and grass is almost dead.

I was suprized too about Norfolk as I always remember long hot summers there.

I am sure it is coming though.

It's horrid when you see other places basking in warm sunshine. I know what it's like, as we often miss the good weather. However, it's wall to wall sunshine today. Tomorrow they say clouds but will be better by Sunday.

 ;D ......... wonderful bloodhound  :-*

it's been bearable here in Northants.  Bright sunshine with a slightly cool breeze. Expect supper will be eaten on plates on the patio watching the wild birds ....... won't tell them we're having chicken then  ;)
