been really hot and lovely today but it feels quite cool outside now which it hasnt been the last few nights i do hope its not breaking iam really enjoying it

It was fab!! - but it rained on the Thursday so everything turned to sticky mud and wellies needed all day Friday. Then it all baked hard and the grass had disappeared, and we all baked in the sun!
It's been sunny here ever since in the south west - for over a week continuously - barely a cloud to be seen and today temps of almost 30 in Exeter ( I was there for a while today)... Phew. It is very hot but I love it!

Just got back from Lytham St Annes, it was hot hot hot hot!


We ate Greek here outside  http://www.olivetreebrasserie.co.uk/

It almost felt like Greece except no view of the sea.

We finished meal with coffee and Turkish Delight  (Loukoumi)

I am way too hot. I was ok before I started cooking dinner.....now...Oh good grief. I am in melt down and my hair is sticking out in strange angles. I must look quite demented.

Hope it lasts though.

The poor children in school are so hot and grumpy - mirrors the way I feel. What I fail to understand though is that all my colleagues love summer, laugh at me for liking winter, and now just grumble and groan all day about how HOT it is! 

I would like some fluffy white clouds for Friday please.

Well, really hot today
Left car parked at lunchtime, when we came out, car temp was 31C       
It did lower to 28C when we drove for a bit - but that's unthinkable as well.
We have actually shut the curtains in the bedroom today to keep it cool

Sitting outside and currently 24c in garden. Been a lovely day.

sooo hot here today not done much in way of housework either leave that till it rains 
honey bun  iam also well known for loving the sun and the heat but gotta say i think when at home its tiring when on holiday i love it but iam in and out of the pools or sea and that makes a big difference as you say cooking is a nightmare in this heat.
Dont even get me started on frizzy hair    mine is waist length and i have bought every product i could and nothing stops it from going frizzy and wavy when its hot so i just tie it up high on top of my head and try to forget its there
