Horribly windy - minimum 60 Mph gusting to 78 Mph, slates and bits of roof are coming off.
It's now starting to rain, the hope is that the wind will ease as the rain passes through.
Trouble is, rain and dodgy roof are not a good combination.

High winds and torrential rain. Been for a look at the sea earlier. Huge waves breaking over the sea wall and the flood barriers are shut.

No sign of it dying down yet.

Awful here (west Wales0. Really strong, blustery winds and the rain started about noon. OK for me as I don't have to go anywhere but my husband has a 30 minute drive down country roads to work shortly.

Pretty awful here. Our up & over garage door decided to blow down again a second before I was about to put car away. Near miss! Hubby put car in whilst I held door up. Never had that happen before. Gusts are really strong!

Catdude you sound not too far from me, I'me nearish to Capel Curig.
The thing is the weather forecasters kept on emphasising the winds in Scotland and Ireland, very little about Wales. Good luck to your husband on his trip to work. Winds still horrendous here, Capel Curig has been getting gusts of 81 mph

Garden is a mess, there was terrific crash yesterday teatime, the small green house was lifted and smashes against the wall, luckily it was not a window, now its at the bottom of the garden with plants scattered along with all the other stuff that was in there.

Chairs and table scattered too, it was a freak gust of wind that did it.
