Hi BEV, the pressure of Christmas probably doesn't help ::)  Hope they stop soon - I'm sure they will.

I think all the extra pressure of xmas can be overwhelming when coping with menopause. Ive got lists coming out of my ears and i still cant remember anything, having said that Im having a good few days so mustnt complain.

Hi everyone,

Although the hot flushes have stopped with the soya pills, I get very tearful at times, when driving along in the car. Had to really force myself not to burst into tears at a carol service yesterday which is unusual!  I find myself getting very quicky angry and intolerant about small things - tolerance zero!

Last night I was telling my husband a story and started laughing about then the next thing I know I was crying  ::) ::)

Anyone else experience this?
Does anyone know what causes us to be tearful during menopause?

Hormones  ;D. Irrational feelings, thoughts, actions. All part of the mix

hormones have a lot to answer for Rebecca! Being pregnant can give pretty much the same effect yet we  don't worry cos it feels normal.  I think this is how we need to try and react when it happens during the menopause too - just hormones - nothing to worry about. Easier said than done tho I know :)

had a feeling weepy day yesterday but as mrs P says...my cry button was stuck. Really annoying as I knew a good cry would help.
Has a stressful day, not sure if it was or if it was me not coping and breezing along like I used to. Had bad palpitations too....and last night had 1st nights sweats for over a week and BAD palpitations...woke up with numb left hand....that worried me as same hand was like Ice in afternoon while palping ( is that a word??) anyone else had that?
Feel better today but thinking time to start HRT as meno herb isnt working too well this week..lol
sorry got a bit sidetracked from weepy ....

I try not to cry if I can. As when I do start I find I can't stop. It goes on for days and I slip down into a depression I find very hard to come out of.

Christmas doesn't help, as we think of those who are no longer with us.
While I'm walking round the shops I'm constantly reminded of when mum and I would go Christmas shopping together, and seeing Christmas cards and presents for mums. It's really hard.

I miss my mum n dad so much at christmas time (3rd year without them) . I have a lovely photograph of them and get special candle to put by it  and light it . I do it every year. So many memories of Christmas with them, its difficult isnt it.
